I talk to a LOT of people, and I know there are a lot of folks concerned about many issues, but let’s not dance around it.

We sit around and worry about how we’ll pay our bills, how we’ll feed our families and buy Christmas presents.

It’s real. Many of us are struggling, but we’re not supposed to talk about it.

But in isolation, hope is deferred. In isolation, hope is often lost.

Let me tell you, I have no shame in sharing; regardless of your perception of me, I’m not financially wealthy (yet.) I’ve taken some hits, but I’m like everyone else.

Groceries are expensive. Everything is.

I could say, “just give it to God,” and all I’m doing is saying, “I hear your problem, but I don’t know the solution, so do this theoretical exercise…”

No. Let me tell you, make your needs known to Him; make them known. Seek Him first, but don’t be ashamed to say (as I reluctantly admit I often do), “Jesus, I’m not sure how I can do it, in fact, I can’t without you. Will you please lead me, guide me? I am leaning on you because this is out of my control…”

Let Him lead you by His Word, and when you pray, be still, be quiet, don’t let the circumstances create anxiety in you, and listen for His gentle leading.

So I would love to stand in agreement with YOU for YOUR needs to be met…

In Mark chapter 8, Jesus and the disciples were together, and a large crowd had gathered around them. They had nothing to eat. The scripture says there were 4000 people, and the disciples had seven loaves of bread.

There are so many lessons in this chapter…but the one I caught was:

1. Jesus was compassionate. He didn’t want them to go away hungry.

2. Jesus gathered what they had and gave thanks for it.

Give thanks for what you possess; don’t pray from a place of desperation and need. Lay the need before the Father, but thank Him for meeting them in advance.

Stop letting the enemy keep you from praying.

The devil is a LIAR. He is defeated.

Jehovah Jirah…the Lord will provide. We must seek to know what He would have us do…

As we thank Him for what we have, even when it’s not enough, He can make it more than enough.

Our comfort is in Christ alone and not in the things of this world.

When the enemy comes in like a flood, God will raise a standard!

He will rebuke the devourer for our sake!

He works all things together for the good of those who LOVE Him and are called according to HIS purpose in Christ Jesus.

We repent of not being good stewards but know our Father is compassionate and will sustain us by His grace and preserve us because of His mercy.

I am believing for YOU to see the faithfulness of God AGAIN in YOUR life in your time of need, in Jesus’ name.
