May this post be met with grace:

800,000

That’s the number of sworn law enforcement officers in America.

800,000 men and women to police a society of over 300 million.

Let that sink in for a moment. Has it sunk in? Good.

The only thing you ever hear about law enforcement is what the media wants you to hear. Why? Because it gets you good and pissed off when you hear partial truths that sensationalize law enforcement, turn you against authority, just like you were against the poor hall monitor in school, and the way many of you were and still disrespect your own parents.

Heck, why would we expect anyone who disrespects their own parents to raise a generation to show respect to anyone else, much less law enforcement?

So with a single news story about the alleged actions of some law enforcement officer, the media mogul’s pockets are lined while the lives of the officer and his/her families are destroyed.

But, some of the time, the alleged victims, who in most cases are nothing more than thugs and criminals, ride off into the sunset as a hero.

It is a recipe for anarchy and destins us to a future of chaos.

But I suppose the issue lies with the fact we are an instant society: We want instant results, a generation who demands a handout instead of working for it, earning it, those terms are foreign to many nowadays. We want instant news, instant results, zero accountability.

Of the 800,000 law enforcement officers, yes, there are some who tarnish the profession and demean the badge. When was the last time someone took to protest at the schoolhouse because of a teacher having sex with student? But the 99% who do their job day in and day out, want to go home to their families, and deserve better from us.

The silent majority is getting restless and tired of the propaganda of race baiting, hate, and division.

We are one.

You and I. Black and white. Male and female. Gay and straight.

We are one.

We are the fiber of American futures.

Young and old. We are one.

Yes, even Republican or Democrat, We are one.

We are Americans.

We are here to preserve the future of the Red, White, and Blue. We are here to ensure the future of our children, to dwell in a peaceful, safe, healthy, and growing America.

We are not afraid.

We are one.
