An Immovable & Unshakeable Love
No matter where we find ourselves, or the circumstances we are experiencing, there is one thing that never changes. We can always be at peace knowing the love of God is irrevocable, unchanging, and unaffected by this world. It’s easy to get so lost in the things of this life that we lose sight of the magnificent power of God’s power. Maybe you are facing a financial crisis, or a terminal illness, maybe you are facing divorce or other broken relationships. It is good to be reminded in the midst of battle of His unfailing love. Maybe that sounds redundant, but I’d rather be blamed for repeating the message of God’s love than anything else in this world. The love of others towards you may fade, but the love of God is unshakeable.
Today, if the challenges of life have caused you to lose site of Gods promises, let this simple devotion serve as a reminder. Nothing you will face today or ever in this life will separate us from His love, and His love is real and present, whether we receive it or not. He promises that, if we will trust Him enough to cry out to Him and obey, He will come to our aid. We live in a hurting world, a world where, this week, parents are burying their teenagers who were murdered. If ever we need to be reminded of God’s love, now is that time.
Heavenly Father, Thank You for the inseparable love You have given me. Thank you that, with this knowledge, I have nothing to fear. Amen
