There was a time I dreaded the Christmas season. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to celebrate the birth of Christ, but I didn’t want to be around the other happy, joyous people celebrating and enjoying life. I had allowed circumstances in my life to create bitterness in my heart and steal my joy. But, (we always love when there’s a but interjected, don’t we?), I encountered the life-changing love of Jesus. I realized it was no longer worth carrying the pain and death of unforgiveness inside of me any longer. I am forever grateful for the gift of life God the Father sent through His son Jesus over 2,000 years ago.
God has given us the perfect gift of eternal life, but that’s not all! He has given us, because of what Jesus did, overcoming power to have life and life to the fullest! That is a marvelous gift to celebrate. Today, if things aren’t as joyous as they should be in your life, or if you are having a difficult time, know there is life and freedom through the Word of God, and He promises to never leave or forsake us. I pray that God will restore your joy, remove the bitterness and heal those who are hurting. Peace and blessings friends, and have a very, Merry Christmas!

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the perfect gift of Your Son, Jesus, sent to give me eternal life and life to the fullest. Show me the path through You to a fulfilled life, and a life of divine purpose that glorifies Your name! -Amen
